Our lives are molded early, influenced by our upbringing, including the thoughts, ideas and values that we experience everyday. Like shackles that bind us, these influences can be detrimental to our creativity, causing us not to accept ourselves and our differences; pushing us to conform. Once we accept these influences as truths it is almost impossible to break free -- creativity is the breaking free of these bonds, becoming at ease with our feelings and opening ourselves to the power of self-expression within.

We look at our lives and all the decisions we make, right or wrong, big and small, as to how our paths and directions are in constant change. And yet we resist the change. But when we discover to just go with the flow of life and not resist, beautiful changes occur. It all starts with self-acceptance and awareness of the world as it is. It is only possible to change myself and when I do this the world changes as well. Anything is possible; life is a gift and we should treat all that we contact as such.

Some of the aspects of my art are: to make people feel good about themselves, to motivate people to challenge their perceptions and question what they see, to create joy, to enlighten our spirit, to spark the imagination and to make us look longer and deeper than just the surface of things or people. There is much more below the surface or hidden inside that can reveal the true meaning of things, actions or intentions. It makes me feel most pleased when people look at my work and see things that they themselves are meant to see, not what I had intended. What could be more rewarding than that? Our guides are at work all the time, but do we listen...?
